Office 2016 for Mac: for legacy Macs only

Office 2016 for Mac is intended for older Macs that cannot be updated to a recent macOS and cannot install newer Office versions. Microsoft stopped releasing updates and security fixes for it in October 2020, so use it for offline or low-risk work on a legacy machine.

If your Mac runs a recent macOS, buy Office 2024 for Mac instead. Unsure which version your Mac can run? Send us your macOS version before buying.
